Vandal Vase – Tenerife Kitchy Trip

Concentrated memories of Tenerife. Everything there was so movingly beautiful... Pine trees with giant pine cones, endemic plants and lizards. I saw monarchs for the first time! I even got to try my hand at driving in the crazy switchbacks there and of course taking photos of the license plates. I rolled around on the black beaches with my husband, jumping half-naked into the waves, and he accidentally brought the sand in his pockets, so I added it to the painting, the sand. I want to go back, even though there's a good chance that if a volcano erupts anywhere in Europe soon, it will be Pico del Teide😆
