Party Vases – Groove bar

The wooing rituals of today, linked with the ambiance of bars, represent a strong experience to me, and intense experiences are exactly that what inspires my work. It is rather mesmerizing to watch how urban people behave.  My brief observations, when I follow their journeys through their lives, stir up my imagination. I capture these anonymous, intimate love affairs at bars, and subsequently repaint them in my own hand onto glass vases in the effort to give a true picture of the atmosphere I have witnessed.
